**IMPORTANT**
Please expect homework EVERY night for your child. They will have spelling and reading homework. Please see below for the rules on their homework.
Spelling
In your child's planner you will see a "Spelling Menu". Please review it with your child and as always please let me know if you have any questions.
RULES
* They must complete 40 points by Friday
*All assignments can be completed in their Spelling Spiral Notebook
*You cannot do the same type of spelling assignment in the same week (Ex: ABC Order on Monday & Tuesday)
*You may do a mixture of assignments or complete all point in one category
*You may complete your points ahead of time
*No skipping days unless you finish your 40 points
Reading
Your child will have a nightly reading homework assignment. Please see the attached sheet in their red spiral notebook for directions.
RULES
* I ask that my students read for AT LEAST 20 minutes a night
* Monday-Thursday they will have reading homework.
*All reading homework should be done in their red spiral notebook.
*They can use the story we are reading for the week or a book of their choice.
*Must be signed by parent EVERY night to get full points.
